Milano armchair (Quo Sideo brand) was granted a main prize and prestigious title “The Product of the Year 2006” in the category “Chairs and office armchairs”. The prize was granted for: “…A state of the art technology of production which guarantees the durability of furniture; good price”. Milano belongs to the newest generation of chairs featuring the elegant and noble line designed by Claudio Bellini. The seat’s construction is based on a unique system of durable elastic fibre glass rods integrated with the moulded, injected foam. The swivel version of the armchair is equipped with movable lumbar support which a user can adjust to his height. Leather upholstered 3 D armrests allow for a wide range of regulation. A soft headrest makes it easy to relax in a comfortable position. It is the forth time the Meble Plus magazine organized the contest “The Product of the Year”. The purpose of the contest is promotion of the furniture, accessories and semi-finished products on the Polish market. What is taken in consideration by jury is the design and functionality, quality of finishing, price and quality ratio, compliance with the requested norms and innovatory solutions. There are 13 categories in the contest; this is almost 70 companies participated in the contest introducing 200 products. The Product of the Year is Milano’s fourth distinction. In the previous years Milano was granted the following: The Innovative Design in Architecture and Office by Architektur Magazine (2002), Golden Medal of the International Furniture Fair in Poznań (2002),  GIO (Good Industrial Design) by the Dutch organization Designlink (2000).
