Adam Krzanowski, the co-owner of the nowy Styl Group was invited to the panel discussion with Ingvar Kamprad the owner of IKEA.The meeting took place during the FORUM 500 i.e. the cycle of meetings of Polish businessmen with the founders and managers of the largest international companies. - Nowy Styl Group, alike IKEA, operates in various countries on many markets. I was curious to know Mr Kamprad’s styles of management of people from various cultural environments. Also, to what extent IKEA adjusts to customer’s taste from various parts of the world – says Adam Krzanowski. It turned out that managing styles are adjusted to the mentality of people in different countries but the company remains faithful to the basic assumptions of the corporate culture. Similarly, design  answers the demands of the locals yet holds to philosophy of IKEA of cheap yet well functioning furniture.
