The chairs were manufactured by Forum Seating, a brand owned by the Nowy Styl Group which is fitting out all the stadiums in Poland to host the Championship in 2012. More than 40,000 Sigma chairs will be mounted in Gdansk. Seats from the same line are already in use at the Municipal Stadium in Poznan. To differentiate from the main stands broad FCB XLK seats will be used in VIP boxes. Apart from the seats, Forum Seating is also the supplier of press tables with customised FCB chairs on castors and stands for reporters. The assembly teams have already drilled 54,000 holes and installed 86 chairs in the VIP boxes, although they have only been working for two days. At this rate the installation of chairs is bound to be completed in early June.
The PGE Arena stadium in Gdansk is one of the four stadiums which are being prepared for the Euro 2012. Three group phase games and one quarter-final will be played at the stadium during the Championship.
